Nintendo switch internet browser

Original DNS / Web Browser:

  • 45.55.142.122

New DNS / Web Browser + Forum:

  • US - 45.55.112.11
  • UK - 46.101.65.164

Steps:

  1. Open settings
  2. Open internet
  3. Change DNS from Automatic to Manual
  4. Change the Primary DNS to one of the above
  5. Save your changes
  6. Try to connect to the internet
  7. Click Next button
  8. Enjoy internet!

Disable steps:

  1. Steps 1&2 from enabling
  2. Change DNS back to Automatic
  3. Steps 5&6 from enabling

Notes:

  1. While this is active, all internet connections will fail, and get rerouted to the internet browser.
  2. Nintendo has implemented a 20 minute timeout on the browser. There is no known workaround.

Wait, that sends you to AMC?

No, but it sends you to a Forum made for the switch.

Cool! I assume that this works by making the Switch think that it is on a captive portal like those at airports or hotels?
