Hey all!

This is a topic where we’ll let you know about any current and upcoming rebuilds to this forum!

Any time the forum is rebuilding, it’ll be down for a little bit, but it’ll be back up as soon as the rebuild finishes!

Please make separate topics for discussion about the rebuilds if you have any concerns.

Going to do a rebuild soon, right after some more plugins get added! (We need an insane amount of plugins now that we can install plugins, lol)

Doing a rebuild to add plugins and make the forum run better! Here’s what’s changing:

The main reason the forum is being rebuilt is to fix issues with ratelimits, but the plugins are just a bonus :upside_down_face:

Edit: I nearly broke production, good thing I checked the config file before starting a rebuild!

Hey all!

We’ll be doing a rebuild shortly, here’s what’s on the way:

  1. New Plugins (if applicable)
    1.1. Animated Avatars
  2. Discourse core update (if applicable)
    2.2. I don’t know the version but it will need a rebuild.
  3. Other things (if applicable)
    3.1. Maxmind support
    3.2. Animated Avatars
    3.3. Remove the AI (suggested by 9pfs)

Please excuse the temporary downtime, we’ll be back up just as soon as we can!

Be careful doing a rebuild, there may be issues from discourse-chatbot (use tmux for running a rebuild, just to be safe)

I think this rebuild ultimately ended up being canceled, but idk
